Responsibilities

• Verify the security and functionality of systems and components
• Isolate potential problem sources
• Drive vehicles for testing purposes and inspect fluid levels as needed
• Maintain proper tire pressure, clean, and lubricate fittings
• Install new oil drain plugs and filters, communicating oil levels to colleagues
• Ensure efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
• Repair or replace worn parts before vehicle breakdown or damage
• Utilize power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of automobiles and swift diagnostic skills
• Effective analytical and communication abilities, with a desire to improve
• Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and specifications
• Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• ASE Certification/Technical degree (preferred)
• One year of experience in a service department
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Inspectors License preferred
