    OR Tech Job Requirements

    Licensed in Virginia as a Surgical Assistant (CST/ORT)

    Minimum 1 year experience as an Operating Room Technician or Surgical Assistant

    Experience assisting in orthopedic, spine, and general (bariatric) surgeries preferred

    Ability to float within the operating room as needed

    Strong clinical skills, quick learner, self-starter, and team-oriented personality

    Healthcare Responsibilities

    Assist surgeons during operative procedures in the operating room

    Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment

    Support the surgical team in orthopedic, spine, and general (bariatric) cases

    Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to hospital protocols

    Participate in on-call coverage for after-hours and weekends as needed

    Collaborate with Certified Surgical Assistants and other healthcare professionals
