Description

3Ci Solutions Team is seeking three skilled Data Engineers specializing in SQL Server and SSIS for a project with a regional banking Client.

The project involves designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines to move data between a SQL Server database hosted on Azure and a mainframe system.

The engagement is initially for 12 months, with opportunities for some positions to transition to full-time roles after the contract phase.

This project entails designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to extract data from Azure SQL Server database and load it into a mainframe system.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and optimization of ETL processes for performance and scalability are key aspects of the role.

Required Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldExperience with SSIS, SWL Server, and complex SQL queries and developmentProven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on SQL Server and SSISHands-on experience designing and implementing ETL processes using SSISExperience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and ETL processesGeneral Requirements

Availability to work in the Central Time ZoneStrong proficiency in SQL and database concepts, with experience working with Azure SQL ServerExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and collaboration skillsUS citizen or green cardPreferred Requirements

Familiarity with Azure and Azure Data Factory (ADF)Familiarity with mainframe systems and experience converting files to VSAM formatEssential Functions

Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SSISCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop efficient data transfer solutionsOptimize ETL processes for performance and scalabilityEnsure data quality and integrity throughout the data pipelineDevelop and maintain documentation for data processesMonitor and troubleshoot data pipelinesStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practicesPerform other tasks as required
