    Pediatric Travel Nurse Job Description

    We are seeking experienced Pediatric Registered Nurses (RNs) for an immediate travel nurse position in Lubbock, Texas.

    This opportunity requires 1-2 years of recent acute care experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caring for patients of all ages and providing support to family members.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide age-appropriate care to pediatric patients
    • Ensure patient comfort during examinations and procedures
    • Perform physical, medical, and diagnostic tests as needed
    • Assess critical signs and symptoms in pediatric and adolescent populations
    • Collaborate with treating physicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
    • Educate and support patients' family members

    Physical Demands:

    The successful candidate must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. They should also be able to easily lift 20 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds required.

    Requirements:

    • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
    • Minimum 2 years of acute care experience

    Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
