    Job Description

    The Accounting Analyst is a support position that reports to the Vice President, Finance and the Controller. This role will provide heavy data entry and administrative support to the Accounting Department, as well as provide front desk coverage and work on projects as assigned.

    Pay: $21 - $31 / Hour

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    1. Accounting Support
      1. Routine filing of Accounts Payable invoices.
      2. Preparing files/boxes for year-end transfer to permanent storage.
      3. Daily errands (banks/Post Office)
      4. Mail processing and distribution
      5. Scan and distribute mail to remote employees.
      6. Process in-house deposits for remote employees.
    2. Projects
      1. Assist Controller and VP of Finance with various accounting related projects
      2. Assists the department with special projects, as requested.
      3. Performs other related duties as required and/or assigned by the Controller and/or VP of Finance
    3. Front Desk Support
      1. Answer the telephone with a smile. Managing a high volume of phone calls using a multi-line system.
      2. Greet staff and guests in a professional, polite manner while following all front desk protocols.
      3. Assist the front desk daily with large amounts of mail and miscellaneous administrative tasks
      4. May be asked to run incidental errands.
    4. Other
      1. Consistently and fairly enforce community rules and regulations, FPI Standard Operating Procedures
      2. Comply with all Fair Housing Laws and FPI policies and procedures
      3. Promote a professional image by adhering to FPI Management's Dress Code Policy.
      4. Conduct displayed must be of a professional manner when communicating with employees, residents, prospective residents, clients, vendors, and guests while representing FPI Management.
      5. Perform any and all functions as directed by the supervisor, including special project assistance
      6. Responsible for meeting all training requirements for the position (Grace Hill, Safety Meetings, etc.).
    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:
    • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar administrative support data entry role, preferably within Residential Property Management
    • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required.
    • Valid Driver's License, a good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance which meets State requirements, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI's Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy.
    • Preferred experience in residential property management, retail, sales, or customer service
    • Preferred 1 year of Property Management Experience
    • Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English
    • Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, QuickBooks, email, internet). Yardi experience helpful. Typing: 40 WPM, 8000 KSPH (alpha-numeric) and 10,000 KSPH (10-key)
