The firm represents general contractors, subcontractors, private owners, and design professionals in construction project issues. This is not an insurance defense firm.

    Role Description

    Feldman & Associates, Inc. has an immediate need for a full-time on-site Trial Attorney in Los Angeles, California. The Trial Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in court, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing legal advice to clients. The Trial Attorney will also collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to assist clients throughout the legal process.

    Everyone takes depositions, attends hearings, and conducts trials.

    There is the potential for partnership.

    Compensation depends upon experience.

    1,900 billable hours are required each year.

    Qualifications

    Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

    Active member of the California State Bar

    Demonstrated experience in civil litigation and trial practice

    Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills

    Strong communication, negotiation and advocacy skills

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Capability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines

    Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, attorneys, and staff
