    CCI Health Services is a reputable 501c(3) non-profit organization that delivers high-quality, affordable healthcare to patients of all ages. They operate as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with a mission to provide accessible care to the community. CCI Health Services:

    • Operates 7 health centers in underserved areas throughout Prince George's and Montgomery Counties, serving over 34,000 patients.
    • Manages various federal, state, and county contracts focusing on clinical operations, patient outcomes, and access to care.
    • Conducts health assessments for refugees, asylees, and special visa holders in Maryland, seeing approximately 2,100 patients annually.

    Position Overview:

    We are looking for a compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join the Refugee Health Assessment (RHA) Program at CCI Health Services. As a key member of the team, you will conduct comprehensive medical examinations for refugees and asylees, addressing their unique healthcare needs with patience and understanding. This role requires flexibility and cultural humility in working with a diverse patient population.

    Key Functions & Responsibilities:

    1. Provide patient-centered primary care services to refugees and asylees.
    2. Perform medical examinations for infectious and non-communicable diseases within a 90-day window frame, including screenings for HIV, lead, tuberculosis, and more.
    3. Stay updated on advancements in refugee health for the best clinical practices.
    4. Collaborate with a healthcare team to develop care plans and make referrals.
    5. Educate patients on preventive care and disease management strategies.
    6. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulations.
    7. Promote diversity, inclusion, and respect in the workplace environment.
    8. Provide supervision and consultation to other healthcare providers.
    9. Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
    10. Meet productivity standards and follow program directives.
    11. Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
    • Board certification in Family Medicine.
    • Valid medical license in Maryland, along with BLS certification.
    • Excellent communication and cultural competence skills.
    • Experience with electronic medical records.
    • Requirement of fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
