We are looking for an experienced technical writer to help us refine and formalize our hardware installation documentation for a fleet vehicle product.+
Responsibilities
- Draft a clear Installation Overview that shows the full install flow at a glance
- Refine a Quick Install Guide that Groups common steps together Clearly branches for OEM and configuration-specific steps Uses short, directive language suitable for in-the-truck use Ensure documentation minimizes decision-making during execution Propose wording and structure improvements without changing technical meaning

- Hardware or IoT installation documentation Automotive trucking or industrial equipment installs Field service or technician-facing documentation Writing for installers and technicians not end users Experience writing SaaS help centers alone is not sufficient for this role
