Lab- Based Work On-SiteSUMMARY
Assists in the development and design of clinical and transnational research goals and objectives. Prepares data and information related to protocols, grants, abstracts, and manuscript submissions.
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Translational Research Projects and Initiatives:
Plans, organizes, coordinates, and participates in scientific clinical research projects.
Assists the Principal Investigator in the development and design of clinical and translational research to ensure value and feasibility of proposal.
Data Analysis:
Designs and maintains management reports on the databases for various research studies. Analyzes and evaluates research data and revises techniques and approaches to work problems.
Publications/ Manuscripts and Presentations:
Collaborates on the research findings and participates in the presentation of research results via verbal presentations, abstracts, publications, and posters.
Compose technical reports, abstracts, slide presentations, spreadsheets, posters, and manuscripts for submission to corporate and federal sponsors, conferences, and scientific journals.

Required Education:
Master's degree in one of the natural sciences or related field.
Required Experience:
Four years of experience in experimental or scientific work. With PhD, no experience required. With Medical degree, two years of experience in experimental or scientific work.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
Research lab experience; In vitro Molecular Biology (tissue culture, gene expression, knockdowns, In vivo Molecular Biology (Transgenic and experimental mice handling, animal colony management, xenograft experiments, excellent written and oral communication skills and data analysis.
