The County of Sonoma seeks an Active Directory Administrator for its Information Systems Department.This recruitment is promotional only and open only to full or part-time regular or probationary County employees in specific departments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring and maintaining Enterprise Active Directory environments as well as M365 Administration including AD/Exchange Online/Exchange SE design document process testing implementation backup disaster recovery mechanisms capacity planning business requirements OS Domain File Sharing upgrades scalable solutions critical infrastructure services running AD M365 supported cloud environments SAML OIDC SSO DNS SMTP authentication identity solutions structuring defining domain tenant structure sites trusts OUGPO Intune Policy hierarchy end-user desktop server cloud core processing platforms improving processes automation using PowerShell scripting languages optimize secure AD Entra ID systems enterprise messaging environment account management Teams creation auditing security litigation hold monitoring reporting managing software M365 environments daily basis ideal candidate possess knowledge Enterprise Active Directory architecture Entra ID Exchange Online Administration PowerShell DNS SMTP email security identity access management network infrastructure virtualization technologies information security storage cloud database systems project management asset change controls written oral communication skills complex analysis problem-solving attention detail organizational deliverables deadlines position required access Sheriff's Office Probation Department facilities extensive Security Clearance performed hire.
