Job Summary

A Registered Respiratory Therapist provides quality Respiratory Care to all patients from newborn to geriatrics. Functions as the sole provider of respiratory services on off-shifts, weekends, and holidays. Is a resource person to physician's and other patient care providers. Performs routine, emergency, critical and diagnostic Respiratory Care.

Recognizes their role and participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team working towards attaining MHMH's mission, vision, and goal of meeting patients'/significant other(s)' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in a dignified manner.

Qualifications-Minimum

2 years' experience as a registered respiratory therapist in a hospital setting.

Experience should include exposure to care provided in ED, ICU, Med-Surg, and Nursery.

Education

2 year/Associates Degree

BLS, ACLS, and NRP

License

Ohio RCP License

Registered Respiratory Therapist Credential

Hours

PRN as needed

Shift and Job Schedule

PRN as needed
