    Travelling Sterile Processing Technician
    Cleveland, OH

    The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, processing, sterilization, and distribution of medical supplies, instruments, and equipment used in patient care.

    The ideal candidate will have a meticulous attention to detail, a commitment to following strict protocols and procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.


    Sterile Processing Technician Responsibilities:

    Perform decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, packaging, sterilization, storage, and distribution of medical instruments and equipment according to established protocols and standards.

    Operate and maintain various sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and sterilization chambers.
    Monitor and record sterilization parameters including time, temperature, and pressure to ensure effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles, equipment maintenance, and inventory levels.
    Inspect instruments and equipment for cleanliness, functionality, and integrity, reporting any defects or discrepancies to appropriate personnel.

    Sterile Processing Technician Requirements:
    High school diploma or equivalent.
    Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CSPDT) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) preferred.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
