    At Sam's Club, we pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, innovation, and member satisfaction. As we expand our operations, we are looking for experienced Maintenance Operations Managers to join our team in our new Distribution Center located in Jacksonville, FL.

    You will report into the Director of Operations as the Maintenance Operations Manager and you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance operations in the distribution center. You will have 1 year of direct leadership experience. You will have 3 years experience working in maintenance operations operations in a distribution center environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve processes, improve productivity, and maintain safety. Your leadership and strategic insights will help enhance overall efficiency, reducing operational costs, and improving member satisfaction.

    What you'll do:

    • Oversee the entire maintenance operations within the distribution center
    • Establish, implement, and monitor maintenance processes and systems. Identify associate, member, and/or supplier concerns and determine action to resolve.
    • Ensure maintenance department daily operations are performed properly by monitoring and driving department performance related to maintaining warehouse equipment. For example, material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, air compressors, general building repairs.
    • Monitor and ensure associate compliance with state and federal regulations i.e. OSHA, Hazardous Waste, NFPA, Storm Water, DOT, etc. relating to maintenance operations.
    • Drive the business plan to achieve facility goals by implementing operational improvements, monitoring and tracking asset utilization as well as expenses and capital expenditures compared to budget.
    What you'll bring:
    • 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role within a supply chain environment.
    • Adherence to programs/system and processes.
    • 5s and lean manufacturing experience helpful
