Overall Purpose:
As a Social Media Manager at Delta, you will be responsible for helping develop and then executing social media content strategies, creating engaging and compelling content, managing social media platforms, monitoring and analyzing performance, and collaborating with other departments here at Delta on a day-to-day basis. This is an in-office role but will have the ability to travel throughout Charlotte to shoot content as needed.
Scope:
The Social media Manager is responsible for creating and scheduling content on Delta's social media across multiple platforms. This role's success will be measured through metrics and insights given to us from the Iconosquare platform. Success in this role will be growing the community our channels foster through engagement, captivating content, and clear communication. This position reports to the Creative Director and works in close collaboration with the Marketing Department.
Qualifications
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Previous experience using Iconosquare is a plus
Social media content creation and management skills
Experience in developing and executing social media content strategies
Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
1-2 years of prior experience
Must be proficient in TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Youtube, Google Drive, your preferred video editing software (Adobe, Capcut, etc.)
Responsibilities
Analyze metrics and data to fine tune our social media content to continue to grow our community
Chase trends on social media platform to stay relevant and at the top of people's For You/Discover page
Filming TikToks, reels, and additional content for channels as needed
Editing TikToks, reels, and additional content for channels as needed
Writing captions for Instagram and TikTok
Creating stories for Instagram
Posting on all Delta social media channels
Scheduling content through Iconosquare that aligns with our social media strategy and posting cadence
