Sr. Internal Auditor, Finance - San Francisco

About the Role
The Internal Audit (IA) Department is looking for a Senior Auditor to execute operational, information technology, financial, strategic and compliance audits of complex business processes in a cross-teaming environment.You will work with a strong internal audit team learning and leading new initiatives. This is a highly visible dynamic fast-paced role and you should expect to interact frequently with business leaders across Gap Inc.
What You'll Do
Conduct internal audits of financial operational compliance and strategic processes in timely manner especially leading process walkthroughs drafting process narratives flowcharts designing testing approach drafting scoping documents documenting test results in compliance industry department standards applying analytical skills sound judgment identify areas improvement drafting audit recommendations reviewing them appropriate management collaborating business partners remediation plans establish maintain strong relationships corporate brand functions use data analytics enhance effectiveness efficiency audit projects identify improvement opportunities evaluate internal control environment financial reporting compliance Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Sarbanes-Oxley objectives develop thorough understanding financial process controls assess new processes systems initiatives risk perform assigned duties accordance International Standards Professional Practice Internal Auditing assist identification evaluation enterprise risks mitigations related financial operational supply chain other business areas some projects interaction partnership SOX Store Compliance Audit teams- Excellent interpersonal presentation skills.
- Knowledge using data analytics tools PowerQuery Power BI ACL Tableau etc. intermediate advanced skills Microsoft Office Suite GRC tools Audit Board audit projects plus.
