    *Job Details**Job Title: Food Technologist**Duration: 3 months (contract)

    *Location: Arden Hills, MN 55126**Pay Rate: $26.00/Hr on W2**Description:
    *Work Shifts: (Monday – Friday) 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM**Specialty Cheese Powder Food Technologist*Job Description: Provides general knowledge in the development/evaluation of product (cheese and dairy powders) and analytical testing while providing technical support to Project Leaders by performing routine functions.

    *Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Lab Restock and Inventory check
    • Lab Cleaning
    • Analytical submissions
    • Weigh ups
    • Coating on popcorn or other snack bases
    • Dry Blending of powders
    • Sample request fulfillment
    • Team tasting sensory set up
    • Freezer inventory/clean-out
    • Sifting and logging product from Pilot Plant dryer
    • Processing of and shipping out samples of powder
    • Pilot Plant assistance during runs
    • Skills needed – organization, proactiveness, communication, collaboration
    • Ability to lift, carry, and move 50 lb. bags of powder
    • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
    Experience using Excel/Word/Outlook helpful.

    *Education:
    • HS degree or equivalent with 3+ years of practical experience
    • 2 or more years of relevant work experience in a lab setting.

    Job Type:
    Full-time


    Pay:
    $26.00 per hour
