- Lead the SCADA Integration and Test team, offering guidance and supervision to junior electrical and field engineers.
- Design, enhance, and maintain complex control systems based on specified requirements. Evaluate and test automated control elements to ensure compliance with design specifications and document test outcomes.
- Apply appropriate development and design techniques in alignment with the project environment. Contribute insights on system design aspects, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, integration of existing technologies, and requirements analysis at both system and software component levels.
- A minimum of a decade of experience in Electrical/Mechanical engineering.
- Holder of a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field such as Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Math, or related technical discipline. Equivalent work experience can substitute for a degree.
- Proficiency in managing complex electrical/electronic systems, encompassing System Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Support, and Test, Evaluation, and Logistics support.
- Readiness to undertake short-term travel assignments on short notice.
- Possession of a US passport for possible overseas travel.
- Offer engineering and program support across planning, logistics, design, test, evaluation, and systems engineering phases of research and development projects.
- Conduct design analyses and calculations for electrical assignments, taking charge of creating detailed working drawings.
- Review and ensure quality of projects developed by internal engineers and architects.
- Conduct studies, track project progress, and compile program reports.
- Develop a solid understanding of all technical requirements related to the projects.
- Engage with engineering professionals, end-users, and management throughout the solution development process.
- Publish and deliver technical papers and abstracts for internal and external technical reviews.
- Training: Technical training in commercial or government fuel terminal/pipeline operations, with experience in Automated Fuel Systems.
- Technical expertise in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) development.
- Capability to sit in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasional need to move around within the office to access files, office equipment, etc.
- Regular operation of computer and other office equipment like calculator, copier, and printer.
- Positioning to maintain computers, including under desks and in server rooms.
- Frequent communication with colleagues, management, and clients, which may involve presenting. Ability to convey accurate information in such interactions.
- Possibility of relocating Audio/Visual or Computer equipment.
