Buckson Landscape Architecture provides Landscape Architecture design services for Commercial Clients. At BLA, we offer services from Conceptual Design to Construction Close Out, providing all phases of Landscape Architecture design. The company is located in the northwest region of Houston, Texas.

Role Description

In the Landscape Architect Project Manager position at Buckson Landscape Architecture, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of our projects. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, combining your expertise in design with strong project management skills. Here's an overview of the key responsibilities for this role:

Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Lead and contribute to the design process, ensuring creativity, functionality, and adherence to client requirements.
Provide guidance to the design team, offering insights and solutions to design challenges.
Monitor project budgets and financials, ensuring that projects are completed within the allocated financial constraints.
Efficiently allocate resources, both human and material, to optimize project outcomes.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and open communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Address client feedback, incorporating it into project revisions and ensuring client satisfaction.
Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting kindness and humility in all interactions.
Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, encouraging the exchange of ideas and expertise.
Implement and uphold quality standards in design deliverables, ensuring that projects meet or exceed client expectations.
Conduct regular project reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in landscape architecture.

Qualifications

To excel in the role of Landscape Architect Project Manager at BLA, candidates should possess a unique blend of design expertise, project management acumen, and strong interpersonal skills. Here are the key requirements for this position:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
Professional certification as a Landscape Architect.
Proven experience in landscape architecture, with a focus on project management.
Demonstrated success in leading and delivering landscape architecture projects from conception to completion.
Strong project planning and coordination abilities.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
In-depth knowledge of landscape design principles, trends, and best practices.
Hands-on experience with design software such as AutoCAD, LandFX, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts and project progress to clients.
Proven track record of building and maintaining positive client relationships.
Previous experience leading and motivating interdisciplinary teams.
Ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance to enhance team performance.
Solid understanding of project budgets, financial forecasting, and resource allocation.
