    Description

    Job Title: SausageWorks Professor

    About the Company: Join the team at SausageWorks and become the SausageWorks' Professor, providing guests with an exceptional experience while upholding top-notch operating standards.

    Responsibilities:

    • Be the ultimate Sausage Professor on the sales floor, embodying a strong passion for all things sausage.
    • Interact with guests and hosts in a fun and friendly manner to create an engaging atmosphere.
    • Ensure the SausageWorks staff delivers enjoyable, friendly, and engaging service.
    • Engage guests with freshly prepared SausageWorks samples and suggestive selling.
    • Demonstrate superior guest service consistently.
    • Follow the Sausage Professor character performance guidelines.
    • Achieve sales, shrink, and profit targets for SausageWorks.
    • Maintain inventory levels and supplies.
    • Operate the department according to merchandising and operational standards.
    • Ensure product quality meets company standards.
    • Maintain sanitation and safety standards.
    • Provide guidance, training, and feedback to staff.
    • Handle product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, and guest service.
    • Manage labor budget and scheduling.
    • Conduct PA announcements.
    • Execute other duties as assigned by management.

    Qualifications:

    • Friendly, energetic, and outgoing personality.
    • Engage guests actively and enjoy interacting with them.
    • Comfortable performing in front of a crowd and drawing attention to the department.
    • Ability to multitask effectively.
    • Stay in character and work well in a team.
    • Lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
    • Read and understand information and directions.
    • Knowledge of deli and SausageWorks operations.
    • Supervisory skills including training.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to job requirements.
    • Strong communication, guest service, and selling abilities.
    • Must be at least 18 years old.
    • Physically capable of bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
    • Effective communication and ability to take direction.
    • Competent in working with computers.
