Senior Survey Technician - Sioux Falls - Ulteig

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Survey Technician to join our team at Ulteig.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and direct survey staff members to ensure field surveys meet standards of practice for land surveying within budgetary and time constraints.
• Participate in the management of numerous survey projects and interact with clients regularly.
• Review projects for compliance with company standards and ensure a smooth interface with other disciplines.
• Supervise less experienced survey staff members and participate in developing a solid team.

Requirements:

• Associate of Science or bachelor's degree in surveying or equivalent.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience.
• Certified Survey Technician III, Certified Survey Technician IV, or LSIT preferred.
• Experience in construction, boundary, topographic, retracement, and ALTA surveys.
• Demonstrated ability to operate all survey field equipment.
• AutoCAD experience, survey data processing software knowledge, and Microsoft Software Applications skills.
• Must be willing and able to travel over 50% of the time.
• Authorization to work permanently in the US is required.
