**Summary of Essential Job Functions**

Check every guest room for the count of items to be replaced.

Restock the mini bar with all the missing items.

Bill the guest for all the used items from the minibar

Communicate the charges for the minibar to the Front Desk.

Maintain proper records for consumption.

Take measures to minimize pilferage.

Ensure that none of the items in stock have crossed their expiry date.

Maintain a par of various items based on consumption trends.

Place the order for the items which are below the par.

Report in proper uniform on time as scheduled.

Maintain a professional demeanor while on duty always ensuring to meet and exceed the guest expectations.

Clear the guest corridors or landings of any room service trays or tables.

Ensure maximum guest privacy while carrying out the job.

Inform the Room Service Manager in case of a Do not disturb sign on the door. Wait for further instructions.

Communicate all guest comments to the rest of the team

Practice safety standards at all times.

Champion the use of HOST - PM Hotel Groups Signature Service Program for delivering aggressive hospitality to our guests and to our internal customers. Respond quickly to guest requests or complaints in a friendly manner and insures that appropriate action is taken. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.

Provide a professional image at all times through appearance, dress, and behavior.

Follow company policies and procedures and department SOPs.

NOTE: Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

**Required Abilities**

The major responsibility in this position is to serve the guests in the room, therefore a significant portion of time is spent speaking, listening and carrying or lifting, which is usually done while moving about the property or standing. This person is usually moving about the property while interacting with staff and guests. A portion of time is spent handling and setting up equipment; therefore, this person may lift and/ or carry items weighing 15 to 60 pounds at a time. Reading and writing abilities are utilized. Basic mathematical skills may be used for managing equipment inventory and managing checks. This job description is a general representation of the duties and responsibilities commonly found in PM Hospitality Strategies for this type of position; it may be modified at an individual hotel based upon business necessity.
