Job Summary

The interdisciplinary treatment team is robust and includes Clinical Director/staff psychiatrist, advanced practice registered nurses, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and rehabilitation therapists. As the Clinical Director, you will have the opportunity to treat patients directly and also coordinate with the various disciplines to formulate treatment interventions that are tailored to your patients' specific needs. This hospital is one in a network of six Community Behavioral Health Hospitals (CBHH) located throughout the state, and with that you will enjoy collaboration with colleagues, work with your patients for an average of 30 days, and help to transition care to a robust outpatient network of services.

DHS operates a highly specialized behavioral health care system that serves people with mental illness, substance abuse disorders, and developmental and intellectual disabilities. This includes psychiatric hospitals and other inpatient mental health treatment facilities; inpatient substance abuse treatment facilities; dental clinics, group homes, vocational sites, and sex offender treatment facilities.
