The Hunter College School of Education prepares deeply thoughtful teachers administrators counselors.The Admissions Senior Advisor supports the Office of Admissions Recruitment to ensure a diverse applicant pool robust new student enrollment
Working under supervision the Admissions Director will assist in developing implementing an effective yield plan meet enrollment targets aligning with College goals Work directly with prospective students foster sense belonging guide through application creation submission enrollment into School of Education Advise students through admissions processes via individual group sessions phone calls email Screen graduate applications verify determine eligibility for faculty review attention program-specific certification requirements Guide newly admitted students through enrollment steps admissions requirements transfer credit exemptions Schedule manage segmented onboarding communications drive engagement among applicants admitted students Coordinate yield efforts new student orientation collaboration Office Academic Student Affairs faculty outreach new students Assist data collection reporting operational updates including application tracking maintaining accurate student records
