    We are seeking an experienced, motivated individual to join our team as a Construction Estimator.

    Our company a commercial general contractor focused on commercial construction projects, so you must be familiar with a wide range of projects, cost structures, and timelines.

    Your job duties include surveying potential worksites; collaborating with subcontractors, vendors, and providing a comprehensive cost analysis for potential clients.

    Excellent communication skills are required to present your estimates to stakeholders and clients.

    Construction Estimator Duties and Responsibilities

    • Create comprehensive cost estimates for a wide variety of construction projects
    • Survey project sites for existing conditions
    • Prepare detailed take-offs including square footage, linear footage, etc. of materials
    • Verify vendor and subcontractor estimates fall within the defined scope
    • Maintain a data base of updated industry costs
    • Send out RFP's for pricing, descope subcontractor pricing received
    Construction Estimator Requirements and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred, but not required
    • Prior experience as an estimator and general contractor
    • Proficiency with cost estimating software
    • Familiarity with construction practices, costs, and procedures
    • Experience with vendor management, procurement, and construction management
