Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lender to join their team in NE Twin Cities. As a leading provider of financial solutions, they are dedicated to helping businesses thrive and grow in the ever-changing market. They are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about building relationships and providing exceptional customer service.

You will inherit a substantial book of business to further develop while maintaining and expanding the current relationships, analyzing financial information, and providing customized financial solutions to meet their needs. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain relationships with commercial clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions

- Conduct thorough financial analysis of potential and existing clients to assess creditworthiness and risk

- Structure and negotiate loan terms and conditions with clients

- Manage a portfolio of commercial loans and monitor their performance

- Collaborate with other departments such as credit, underwriting, and operations to ensure timely and accurate loan processing

- Stay updated on market trends and changes in regulations to provide sound financial advice to clients

- Actively participate in business development activities to attract new clients and expand the company's commercial lending portfolio

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lending, preferably in a bank or financial institution

- Strong understanding of financial analysis and credit risk assessment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and loan management software

- Knowledge of local market and industry trends

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
