    Description of Duties:

    The System Test and Resource Sustainment (STaRS) Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) Analyst supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.

    The candidate will:
    • Must be onsite at Schriever Space Force Base for this program.
    • Conduct passive evaluations such as compliance audits using STIG Viewer, SCAP, etc. and active evaluations such as vulnerability assessments utilizing tools such as ACAS.
    • Use ACAS to develop reports for the Operations and Maintenance teams to work patches and mitigation to vulnerabilities.
    • Experience with Security Hardening & Vulnerability/Compliance, OS patching. Strong knowledge of performance monitoring, metrics, capacity planning, and management. Familiarity with supporting enterprise container based platforms.
    • Proficient in technical services and analysis with knowledge of cybersecurity standards, principles, practices, and processes.
    • Experience supporting key cybersecurity activities including vulnerability assessments, control development, security plan documentation, penetration testing, and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
    • Review, update, and preform quality control updates to RMF documentation to include Categorizations, Implementation Plans, Security Plans, and Risk Assessment Reports using eMASS.
    • Document Controls and CCI answers and review validate answers. Work with system administrators, engineers, and developers to obtain, create, review or update system/site policies, procedures, process guides, STIGs, PPSM, POA&Ms,system hardware lists, System software lists and other artifacts are available in the MDA eMASS system.
    • Attend technical interchanges with Government and Contract customers.
    • Have excellent presentation, oral and written skills to facilitate effective and efficient interchanges with senior customers and management and customers.
    • Effectively function as self-starter and identify risks, issues, and opportunities to the Cybersecurity Task Order Lead Area Lead.
    • Familiarity with ticketing system (Remedy) and the demonstrated ability to use a methodology to drive cyber hygiene and reduce vulnerabilities across the enclave. Lead vulnerability management through weekly interaction with operations team, use innovative means to achieve positive outcomes.
    • This position can be filled at Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO.
    • This position is expected to pay $57,300 - $82,300 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.


    Requirements

    Basic Requirements:
    • Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 2 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 0 years of general experience.
    • Must have a DoD IAT level II certification or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
    • Must have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
