    About the Role:


    We are looking for a Contract Senior Marketing Associate to join our team through March of 2025 and report to our Senior Manager of Paid Partnerships.

    You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing the full-funnel strategy to build brand awareness and acquire new customers for Remitly through grassroots events and community outreach with the ultimate goal of new customer acquisition.

    To do this, you will collaborate with internal and external teams including agencies, brand advocates, and partner organizations.

    Through these relationships, you will form ongoing partnerships to identify opportunities to reach and engage with potential customers in multicultural communities and grow brand presence through community events and activations.

    This opportunity is available for hybrid work within Seattle or remote work outside of Seattle.

    You Will:


    Work with the internal creative teams and external marketing agencies to develop marketing strategies and plans that increase awareness, consideration, and penetration for our main corridors and markets.

    Form ongoing relationships with community organizations we partner with to develop ideas where we can reach potential customers through the partnerships
    Build relationships with Brand Advocates and Ambassadors to plan and execute grassroots events. Track the performance of the events and identify opportunities for improvement.
    Partner with external agencies to plan and execute events that support our plans.
    Manage community marketing budget and demonstrate a solid investment approach
    Identify customer insights, pain points through events and channel customers feedback to the internal team to inform our messaging.

    You Have:
    3+ years of work experience in marketing or brand management
    Experience influencing cross-functional teams and/or agency partners
    Experience leading marketing communication projects including experiential marketing and events marketing strategies
    Experience working with multicultural audiences
    Knowledge of budget control methods, policies and procedures
    Professional working proficiency in Spanish
    Compensation Details.

    The starting base hourly range for this position is typically $40-$53.
