Job summary
We are seeking motivated, positive and compassionate individuals to join our team as Veterinary Surgery Technicians. The surgery technicians support three board certified surgeons and the related patient care of surgical cases.Responsibilities
- Administers medication and manages/monitors patients during surgical procedures—including pre and post op care and anesthesia recovery.
- Facilitates patient care of outpatient appointments for surgeons—consults and rechecks.
- Performs IV, IM and SubQ injections, IV catheter placements and advanced veterinary technician skills (arterial catheter placement, epidural administration, splint placements).
