    Job DescriptionResponsibilities Supervise and provide guidance to junior electrical Controls engineer, supporting their professional development and fostering a culture of learning within the team.

    Lead the design and development of electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment and machinery, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

    Develop and program PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems to automate processes, optimize efficiency, and enhance productivity. Design and implement intuitive HMI interfaces for operators to monitor and control manufacturing processes effectively. Provide technical support for troubleshooting electrical issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.

    Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement through the implementation of advanced control strategies and automation technologies.

    Maintain accurate documentation, including electrical schematics, technical specifications, and operating procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. Lead projects from conception to completion, including project planning, resource allocation, and timeline management. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to achieve project goals.

    Education and Certifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or Automation Engineering Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical controls and automation within a manufacturing environment.

    Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit design, power distribution, and control systems. Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram. A track record of proficiency in control systems, troubleshooting, and working in high intensity environments.

    A willingness to travel for project requirements including installation and start-up activities, client and company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, and conventions.

    Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profibus. Familiarity with HMI programming and design principles. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and technical manuals. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical control systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all aspects of work.
    Qualification Walking and standing for extended periods. Frequent lifting of up to 65 pounds. Frequent bending, squatting, stooping, and reaching. Repetitive arm and upper body action and movement. Exposure to dust, frequent loud noise, varying temperatures in the plant. Occasionally climbing stairs.
