- Education Requirement: BS with Generalist experience in a hospital setting, preferably with blood bank experience. BSMT, MT/MLS, or MLT with relevant experience. ASCP or AMT Certification is mandatory.
- Shift Schedule: Expectations include 4 10-hour shifts with rotating weekends from 8:30PM to 7AM
- Experience: Previous Generalist experience in a hospital and Blood Bank experience are essential
- Perform specimen acceptability evaluations
- Conduct routine and complex technical procedures
- Operate and maintain instrumentation
- Make technical decisions and troubleshoot
- Report test results accurately and timely
- Conduct maintenance and quality control procedures
- Manage testing supplies and assist in specimen processing
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to protective measures
- Bachelor's degree in relevant fields or meeting local regulatory requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience
- Flexibility to work overtime or different shifts based on business needs
