Description

Position Summary:
Independent Living Specialists
ensure staff
supervision of
clients living full time on campus or coming to campus for breaks.
Must be able to attend required in-person trainings within two months of hire.
Qualifications:
Prefer bachelor's degree in human services field along with two (2) years' experience in working with children, adolescents and young adults.
Embrace and model the principles of C.A.R.E.
Knowledge of and ability to apply best practices in crisis intervention situations
A driving record that reflects a commitment to safety and mature decision-making
Must be able to pass standard background checks,
including:
drug screen, employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry, and Sex Offenders Registry
Has a belief system and engages in faith practices that are compatible with those of the United Methodist Church
