Job summary
As pharmacy technician perform inpatient pharmacy technician duties including entering orders into electronic health records compound intravenous medication orders compound Chemo therapeutic intravenous medications and other tasks.

Responsibilities
- Perform ward and or clinic inspections maintain pharmacy automation systems and deliver Pyxis and patient orders to wards and clinics.
- Assess metabolic needs order therapeutic parenteral nutrition products consult with patient care teams through multi-disciplinary rounds antimicrobial stewardship monitoring document pharmacy interventions appropriately in the EHR document significant adverse medication events with prescribers in the patients medical record and in the Patient Safety Reporting system facilitate medical staff drug utilization reviews as deemed necessary exhibit basic competency in Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft PowerPoint type 40 words per minute at work rate of pay $2167 HR travel percentage none job shift day category Health Care Medical position timing immediate hire upon completion of all background security investigations benefits Health Dental Vision 401k Vacation Sick Leave eleven paid federal holidays including New Years Day Martin Luther King Jr Day Presidents Birthday Memorial Day Juneteenth Independence Day Labor Day Columbus Day Veterans Day Thanksgiving Christmas holiday working hours NTE forty hours week excluding Federal Holidays education level high school certification by Pharmacy Technician Certification Board PTCB National Health career Association ExCPT Basic Life Support Certification American Red Cross American Heart Association experience required minimum twenty four months experience outpatient pharmacy
