POSITION SUMMARY
As the Controls Engineer, you are a key site leader responsible for factory process control systems and networks to ensure operation, reliability, and continuous improvement for production and related site activities.
In this role you will directly manage the Plant Controls systems, specifically with PLC programming, HMI/SCADA data acquisition, and instrument calibrations.
You will design and/or approve electrical installations in accordance with proper codes and standards and provide technical oversight to ensure reliability and performance of electrical power distribution systems for the site (to include motor control and lighting).
Provide PLC and HMI/SCADA software and hardware support for the factory.Assist in scope development, requirements, and objectives for control system/electrical related projects.
Develop and maintain the factory long term electrical and controls infrastructure plan.
Lead in maintaining up-to-date and complete electrical and controls as-built documentation.
Ensure proper filing documentation of (manuals, diagrams, instrument data sheets, software packages/licenses).
Coordinate and implement control system software upgrades.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field AND 3+ years of experience with control systems in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment
OR
Associate's Degree in Engineering or related field AND 6+ years of experience with control systems in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment
The approximate pay range for this position is $88,000-$118,000.
Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
