    Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a General Manager/Chef Manager to join our team at Pennsylvania Power and Light in Allentown PA The food operation at this location consists of 1 small cafe, catering operations to include providing catering for storm services in which we provide meals for power restoration employees and contractors during outages.

    The General Manager/Chef Manager will be the only salaried manager at this location and must have a culinary background. This position has a 60/40 split with 60% of this role being "culinary" focused.

    Duties will include but not limited to:

    • Overseeing the day to day operation
    • Manage the client relationship
    • Responsible for the finance/budget for the operation
    • Menu planning
    • Ordering
    • Inventory
    • Food and labor cost
    • Leading and developing a team of 1 supervisor and 3 hourly employees
    • HR related duties
    • Catering production to include storm services
    • Must have a Valid Driver's License as we have Vans on sight


    This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule but must be flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed for Storm Services.

    Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.

    Target salary is 65K to 69K plus bonus

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

    Basic Management Experience - 2 years

    Basic Functional Experience - 2 years
