Legal Assistant/Medicaid Paralegal
Medicaid Long Term Care Paralegal or Caseworker

• Minimum $2,000 starting bonus and competitive pay commensurate with experience. Would consider exceptional applicants with higher pay scale needs. Requested pay must be included with the application.

We are ideally seeking at least one experienced Medicaid Paralegal or Long-Term Care Medicaid Caseworker. The perfect candidate would have 3 years of experience filing Medicaid Long-Term Applications.

Our ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and have a working knowledge of financial instruments such as bank accounts, life insurance, brokerage accounts, IRAs, annuities, etc.

$44,000 yearly

Medicaid Paralegal/Caseworker duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assembling documents necessary to file Medicaid applications
• Filing Medicaid applications and annual redeterminations
• Conducting intakes with clients and prospects
• Working with caseworkers to ensure approval of government benefits
• Signing estate planning and financial documents with clients
• Coordinating Medicaid spend-down plans with attorneys
• Providing guidance to families regarding choosing care

• 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
• Candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have advanced paralegal education will receive preference
• Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills, and time-management skills
• Talented communicator and writer
