    Our client is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Project Accountant to manage the end-to-end accounting of a major transformation project.

    This role offers an initial six-month contract with the potential for extension, providing an exciting opportunity to contribute to a significant project within a large organisation in the education sector.

    The successful candidate will have the chance to oversee and manage project spend, ensuring financial efficiency and accuracy.

    As a Project Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of a major transformation project.


    What you'll do:
    Ensure accurate and timely production of project costing reports
    Liaise effectively with Project Managers and other key stakeholders
    Conduct comprehensive financial analysis
    Perform monthly variance analysis to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement
    Calculate and forecast costs to projects accurately, ensuring financial efficiency
    The ideal candidate for this Project Accountant role will bring a wealth of experience and proven skills.

    What you bring:
    Must be CPA or ACCA qualified
    Experience working in a project environment is highly desirable
    Proven track record in a similar role is essential
    Strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
    Excellent analytical skills for conducting detailed financial analyses
    Ability to perform variance analyses and identify areas for improvement
