    FULLY ONSITE IN THOUSAND OAKS, CA

    Role will be an equipment system owner- hands on day to day trouble shooting working with maintenance teams on calibration / work order support, preventative maintenance, working with inventory for necessary parts needed/etc.

    Job Details:

    Position involves support of manufacturing and other engineering staff in the ongoing troubleshooting and improvements of the manufacturing process. Includes the initiation, execution, and completion of continuous improvement projects, particularly for equipment related scope. Perform hand-on field support, field evaluations, engineering design recommendations, third party vendor escort, cross functional collaboration with maintenance, instrumentation, manufacturing, quality, and process engineering within GMP / FDA regulated cleanroom. Skills: Hands-on equipment troubleshooting, drug substance manufacturing, continuous improvement, Maximo, Obsolete component analysis and functionally equivalence. Previous intern experience is a plus. Experience with automation (Delta V) is a plus, as well as experience with computer programming (SQL / VBA / PLC), drug substance systems, and/or chromatography, filtration, single-use and stainless steel product trains, and various mixers.

    Day to Day Responsibilities:

    Hands on equipment troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment

    Implementation and execution of continuous improvement projects

    Coordination of Maximo work orders with manufacturing, maintenance, and planning/scheduling

    Review of equipment spare parts, calibrations, and preventative maintenance
