Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, ensuring a positive experience.
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts.
- Stock shelves, merchandise products attractively, and ensure the store is clean and organized at all times.
- Conduct product demos and upsell items to maximize sales opportunities while providing helpful recommendations.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular stocking and merchandising efforts.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining professional phone etiquette.
- Assist with product demos and promotional activities to boost sales and enhance customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers.
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a broader customer base.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills for retail transactions.
- Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, stocking, and customer service standards.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to foster positive customer interactions.
