Occupational Therapist - Full Time School Year)

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual perceptual skills, and activities of daily living.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and student goals.
Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
Provide support and education to teachers, parents, and caregivers on strategies to promote student success.
Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other team meetings as required.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
California state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Occupational Therapy.
Previous experience working in a school setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
