St James Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses to fill temporary staffing needs. $50/Hour + 20% differential. Travel stipend available when applicable.
EligibilityThe Temporary RN Program positions require all of the following:
Current Montana RN license
Current BLS certification
Two (2) years of recent RN experience in an acute care setting
Current SJB associates are not eligible for the temporary RN position.
Previous SJB associates must have a greater than 90 day break in service in order to be eligible for the Temporary RN position.
Fifth floor is a 26 bed surgical floor that provides great care to orthopedic, urology and general surgery patients. 5th floor also provides exceptional care to pediatric patients. The most commonly admitted diagnoses for pediatric patients are respiratory distress, dehydration, pneumonia, sepsis, and fractures. As a nurse on 5th floor you will care for patients ranging from infancy to geriatrics.The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients.
The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.
ScopeRecognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs
Foster continuity and quality of care with the best interest and well-being of patients and their families in mind
Assess a patients' medical status upon admission
Assist in developing individualized treatment plans
Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines
Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs
Help improve our facility and safety programs
Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures
ASN from an accredited program, required
BSN from an accredited program required within 48 months of your hire, required
Current Montana RN license or compact license with the ability to obtain Montana RN license, required
Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required
Current PALS or ENPC certification or the ability to obtain within 9 months of hire, required
At least one (1) year of nursing experience in a comparable setting, preferred
Physical Requirements:
Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing.- and -Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.- and -See and read computer monitors and documents.- and -Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.- and -May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching.
