    Our Digital Workplace Microsoft Purview Engineer would ideally be located near an AES office; however, we will consider other locations as this position can work from home, office, or a combination.

    Required SkillsBachelor's degree (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field)


    Minimum of 3 years of practical experience with the data loss protection and compliance modules within Microsoft 365Successfully deployed and configured Microsoft Purview or other data loss prevention tools and platformsUnderstand data privacy regulations and frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.,You possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and you always strive to deliver high-quality work with attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.


    SC-400:
    Administering Information Protection and Compliance in Microsoft 365 certificate.
    Familiarity with data protection laws and regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, etc.
    Prior experience configuring and maintaining Purview and other DLP platforms.
    Your responsibilitiesUse Microsoft Purview to find and categorize data across the organization that has different levels of sensitivity. Work with various departments to create and apply data protection policies and rules using Microsoft Purview.
    Track and review data activity and incidents using Microsoft Purview to identify and address data breaches and violations.

    Build and examine data governance reports and metrics using Microsoft Purview to assess and enhance data quality, security, and compliance.

    Work with data owners, stakeholders, and IT teams to ensure data governance best practices and standards are adhered to and implemented.

    Explore and assess new data loss prevention technologies and trends and provide suggestions and feedback.
