To further our mission, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team remotely.

    Position Overview: We are currently seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to provide remote services to students within our school district in Lamar, CO. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to support the development of students' functional skills, enhance their independence, and promote their overall well-being.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' functional abilities and needs.
    • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings.
    • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students through virtual platforms.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement strategies to support students' success in academic and non-academic settings.
    • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting intervention plans as necessary.
    • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational plans.
    • Stay abreast of current research and best practices in occupational therapy and education.

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
    • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Colorado.
    • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
    • Minimum of [X] years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
    • Experience providing remote occupational therapy services is desirable but not required.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to effectively utilize technology for virtual service delivery.
