    Description


    TrinityRail is searching for a Fleet Maintenance Planner in Dallas, TX This role will support the planning team in making data driven decisions when shopping railcars and process improvements.

    They will be an integral part of delivering an outstanding customer experience associated with the maintenance of railcars.

    Support an Outstanding Customer Experience by scheduling Project shopping events using data based on >14,000 railcars per year Understand scheduling and repair network capabilities and how they impact railcar scheduling project and customer needs Select shopping locations based on maintenance budget targets and data, and customer needs Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of Maintenance Project Planning and provides a single point of contact for project schedules across department team Plans and directs schedules as well as project deadlines.

    Monitors the project in the TAS workflow from initiation through completion, interfacing with internal customers on all matters. Assesses project workflow issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals Presents status updates and escalates roadblocks to proper department leadership in a timely manner to insure projects are completed promptly in order to increase timely responsiveness to the customer Consult with senior management and other stakeholders to establish and meet financial and customer service goals Act as a change agent to foster a customer-centric quality culture throughout the organization and drive measurable business process improvements Establishes and maintains productive customer, cross-functional, and management relationships through individual contacts and group meetings Qualifications What you'll need: Bachelor's degree; Master's Degree is a plus 5+ years related production planning, operations, or analysis experience or related experience Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) Intermediate Excel skills required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to promote Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical and decision making skills Self-motivated, organized and capable of handling multiple responsibilities and projects to successful completion Strong change management skills highly desired Proven track record of executing with limited supervision Experience working with AIML
