- Provide strategic leadership in financial planning, budgeting, accounting, and more.
- Oversee city's financial assets, investments, and compliance with regulations.
- Develop financial policies to safeguard city assets and support strategic goals.
- Manage relationships with auditors, advisors, and stakeholders to maintain the city's bond rating.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, public administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Ten years of progressive experience in municipal finance with supervisory experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in bond issuance, debt management, and working with pension systems preferred.
- CPA or CGFM designation is a plus.
