    Key Responsibilities
    • Accounting Analysis: Providing expertise in accounting and general business analytics in designated functional areas; overseeing routine journal entries and reconciliations.
    • Accounting Research: Investigating standard issues related to specific transactions; utilizing research tools for reporting frameworks.
    • Financial Reporting: Preparing various disclosures and tables for filings; investigating data inconsistencies and proposing resolutions.
    • Compliance: Executing control activities to ensure adherence to internal control policies.
    • Consulting: Offering guidance on the appropriate accounting treatment of activities; monitoring and addressing internal data requests.
    • Budget Support: Developing budget forecasts and analyses for projects; researching anomalies across reports/systems and recommending solutions.
    • Financial Systems: Mastering accounting organization-specific applications and instructing others on routine tasks.

    Education/Experience/Certifications
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • Experience: Two or more years in a related field (Accountant), five or more years in a senior role (Sr. Accountant).
    • Certifications/Training: CPA certification is preferred.

    Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
    • Functional Competencies: Proficiency in accounting principles, GAAP, internal controls, and finance business processes.
    • General Competencies: Demonstrated business acumen, problem-solving, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical thinking skills.

    Physical and Cognitive Demands
    • Cognitive Level Intermediate: Utilizing relevant principles to solve practical problems and handle concrete variables where limited standardization exists.
    • Schedule/Attendance: Ability to work long hours, variable schedules, and during periods of severe weather.
    • Physical Capabilities: Involves driving/traveling within the service territory frequently and regular computer use.

    Environment: Indoor/Office.

    Compensation Range: $72,000 - $145,375.00, with additional performance-based incentives based on individual attributes.
