WordPress Web Developer Needed for Ongoing Project

Job description
I run a local birth and doula services business in Southern California. I am not looking for an SEO consultant or ongoing marketing management.I am specifically looking for an execution-focused freelancer to implement a defined checklist of technical tasks on my existing WordPress website and Google Business Profile.
This is a fixed-scope implementation project, not a strategy or redesign project.
The goal is to properly set up my website and local search presence so clients can find me, understand my services, and book consultations.
Platform:
- WordPress website (already built – no redesign needed)
- Google Business Profile already created
- Vagaro booking system
Key Tasks (Implementation Only):
- On-page SEO setup for existing pages (titles, meta descriptions, H1/H2 structure, internal linking)
- Connect and verify Google Search Console and Google Analytics
- Improve local SEO signals for service-area business
- Optimize Google Business Profile categories, services, and descriptions
- Add conversion tracking for calls, form submissions, and bookings
- Embed and properly connect Vagaro booking to website
- Create simple landing pages for main services (birth doula, placenta encapsulation, birth education)
- Ensure mobile usability and page speed basics
- Add schema/structured data where appropriate
What I am NOT looking for:
- No website redesign
- No branding changes
- No ad management
- No social media management
- No ongoing monthly retainer
- No content writing beyond basic page formatting
Project Structure:
This project will be milestone-based with clear deliverables and acceptance criteria. Estimated total work time is approximately 25–35 working hours.
Future work may be available if the project goes well.

In your proposal, please include:
1) Examples of local service business websites you have optimized
2) Confirmation you are comfortable working within an existing site
3) Confirmation you can implement booking integrations (Vagaro/Calendly/Setmore or similar)
I value clear communication and completion of tasks more than marketing ideas.
Contract duration of less than 1 month.
