Description

The Houseman at SpringHill Suites Cheraw is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all public areas and guest rooms within the hotel.

This individual will work collaboratively with the housekeeping, maintenance, and all other departments to ensure a comfortable and welcoming experience for all guests.

• Clean and maintain all public areas including but not limited to lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and fitness center.
• Vacuum, mop, and sweep floors in common areas and guest rooms.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries and towels in guest rooms.
• Report any maintenance issues or needed repairs to the appropriate department.
• Assist with special guest requests such as extra pillows or towels.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down meeting rooms for events.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
