- Accumulate, verify, analyze and report departmental and overhead costs.
- Provide timely and accurate information to department management to assist with decision-making.
- Advise and communicate historical and projected financial performance to manufacturing and management personnel.
- Prepare and analyze annual business plans, monthly forecasts, account reconciliations, and project justifications for major expenditures.
- Monthly close activities including journal entries, reporting, steel inventory reconciliations.
- Steel inventory physical tracking and control.
- Other duties asassigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Knowledge and ability to interpret accounting results, identify special problems and analyze causes, and make recommendations for improvements or corrective actions.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- General knowledge of the steelmaking process.
- Knowledge of ORACLE and mainframe computer applications, such as SAS.
