Description

We're supporting our client, manufacturer based in Suwanee, GA who are looking for a Maintenance Technician or Maintenance Mechanic to join their growing team. The successful Maintenance Technician will have experience of trouble shooting, repair and maintenance of plant machinery

Salary: $30ph - $35ph

Shift: 7am – 3.30 pm (Mon- Fri)

Job Type: Direct Hire

Location: Suwanee, GA

Job Start date: ASAP

Job Summary:

Operates various equipment as needed. Also assists with various assignments in department as needed.

Responsibilities:

Completes task assigned in a proficient and timely manner.
Must have ability to work with minimum supervision.
Operates all power tools, welder, and torches.
Operates forklift, scissors lift, and crane.
Maintain, trouble shoot and repair plant machinery within the plant.
Trouble shoots and repair/replace electric circuits and electric components.
Maintains arts and supplies within maintenance shop.
Travel to machine shops and other facilities to deliver and pick up parts as needed daily for maintenance department.
Assitss with other duties in department, as business deems necessary.

About You:

High School Graduate or GED
Manufacturing Experience
Safety Awareness
Some Boiler Knowledge would be helpful, but not necessary.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally.
Ability to change from day-to-day routines and adjust accordingly.
Ability to work as a team member.
Forklift License/Certification
