    Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Patuxent Institution located in Jessup, Maryland.

    The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Behavioral Health) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

    Qualifications


    • High school diploma or GED equivalent required

    • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required

    • Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

    • Experience working in mental health preferred

    • Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

    Available shift: Days; 8:00am to 4:30pm
